The market square in Opole is the main square of the city, with a huge town hall standing in the middle. It is a charming place that invites you to walks and cafes. The urban layout of the Old Town in Opole has not changed much since its location, i.e. since the 13th century. The central point is the quadrangular Market Square, with the impressive, stately Town Hall in the middle, which seems a bit too big here. Around the Market Square there are beautiful tenement houses with decorated facades, painted in pastel colors. In one of them there is a time machine that takes you to the apartment from the times of our grandmothers. Coffee shops and white sculptures add extra charm to the square. Recently, Aleja Gawiazd was created on the Market Square in Opole, i.e. stars visible among the pavement with the names of singers who performed at the Opole Polish Song Festival.
